Desmond Nana Akuoko Bress-Biney is the president of the Association of Graduates in Skills Development-Ghana (AGSD-GH) and an employment activist. Bress-Biney’s background is Graphic Designing, Human Resource Management and Media Relations.

David Asante Kwatia is the Vice President of the Association of Graduates in Skills Development – Ghana. He is also Chief Executive Officer of Kwatia-Jobs, an organisation which focuses on finding jobs for the youth.

Kwatia as an entrepreneur, researcher and a motivational speaker has helped transformed the lives of many youth through his wealth creation initiative; Intellectual Idea Development (IDD). As a youth leader, his main passion is to see the youth harness the fastest legal way of gaining employment and has addressed forums and seminars organised by Innovation for Poverty Action (IPA), Advocacy Research Intelligence Group (ARIG), Stratcom-Africa, African Centre for Culture, Tourism and Human Development and Synovte IPSOS.

He has also contributed in different ways of shaping society on Adom FM, Angel FM, Focus FM and Oman FM.  Kwatia is a product of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi and Bournemouth University, England



Mrs. Addy Namaran Coulibaly, an experienced secretary with a proven track record of successfully managing the association’s projects and meeting deadlines consistently and accurately. Mrs. Coulibaly has a strong administrative background coupled with excellent computer skills. She is a graduate of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) with a degree in Communication Studies.

Mrs. Coulibaly is proficient in multiple computer applications with fast, accurate typing skills.  She speaks French fluently and has excellent organizational and planning skills which she utilized in providing full secretarial support to the association and currently pursuing a master degree at Advanced School of Translators and Interpreters (ASTI), Buea in Conference Interpreting.

Mrs. Coulibaly is a top performing secretary who is both professional and trustworthy. Known as a hard worker committed to the efficient completion of challenging projects within deadlines.



Aisha Ahmed is the deputy General Secretary of AGSD-GH. Ms. Ahmed has chosen to spend virtually her entire career within social Services firms, beginning her career and completing her degree in Social Work from the University of Ghana, Legon.

Ms. Ahmed is also a product of Aburi Girls Senior High School and has worked with the Young Heart Foundation at Madina New Road, Rawlings Circle.



Kwadwo Odoi-Baah after Studying Bachelor of Business Administration joined the Unemployed Graduates Association of Ghana now Association of Graduates in Skills Development-Ghana (AGSD-GH).

Odoi-Baah is currently pursuing a master degree programme in Corporate Governance at the University of Professional Studies, Accra. Odoi-Baah enjoys the challenges that come with moving into a new era of finding opportunities for the youth in the country. His passion led to starting his own farm at Adukrom in the Eastern Region of Ghana, to provide alternative livelihood opportunity for the youth in his community.



Kofi Odoi-Baah Jnr. is currently the Director for Sponsorship and Continuous Learning at AGSD-GH. He has over five (5) years extensive experience in fund raising and sourcing for scholarship opportunities. Prior to this appointment, he worked with the Standard Chartered Bank, Opeibea Branch as a National Service Person and Cocoa Board (Seed Production Unit).

He holds a degree in BA Psychology from the University of Ghana-Legon. He has a strong negotiation skills and the ability to research on a variety of topics.



Betty-Ann Amponsah has been involved in AGSD-GH since 2015. Ms. Amponsah is a passionate advocate for women and girls’ in employment and human rights, and social change activist. She is an accomplished leader with over five year experience managing finances of associations she has been associated with. In addition, she inspires people, mobilizes action and resources.

She is a graduate of the University of Ghana-Legon.



Mr. Benbella Asare Akuffo completed an honours degree in B.Ed Basic Education at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), and is a qualified teacher. Some leadership positions held include deputy Electoral Commissioner – UEW, deputy Project Manager (UEW-Basic Education Students Association) and an executive member Centre for Entrepreneurship, Business Management and Development.

Mr. Akuffo continues to head up in leadership training and has completed the following YALI short internet courses: Understanding the climate, strategies for personal growth and development, basics of public-private partnership, community organising for action, skills building for girls advocacy, management strategies for people and resources, workforce collaboration and development, fundamentals of business expansion and understanding elections and civic responsibility

Mr. Akuffo is passionate about people, and through his involvement in graduate recruitment and development would like to positively influence career and self-knowledge among students and graduates. He enjoys reading and writing.



Richard Nii Amarh is a product of Okuapemman School and the University of Cape Coast where he obtained an SSCE Certificate in General Arts and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in African Studies respectively. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Ghana and currently a student of the Ghana School of Law.  He was born in Aburi-Akuapem where he had is Primary and JHS education.

During his university Education in UCC, he had the chance to help create a Student Emergency Relief Fund (SERF) when he served as the SRC President of the University. This fund, today, helps some students to pay their fees during difficult times.

He has worked as a banker for six years cumulatively between 2004 and 2015.
